The Forum of Turing Centers will be hosted by John Hopcroft Center for Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from December 28th to 29th, 2018.
In recent years, three research centers, the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Science at Tsinghua University, the Center on Frontiers of Computer Science at Peking University, and the John Hopcroft Center for Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, have been established under the leadership of two world-renowned computer scientists and Turing Award winners, Prof. Andrew Chi-Chih Yao and Prof. John E. Hopcroft. Both Prof. Yao and Prof. Hopcroft have devoted themselves to the promotion of innovative research of computer science and the cultivation of young talents in these research institutions.
This forum as advocated by the above three research centers is intended to provide a platform for exchanging research ideas and establishing academic connections between scholars.
Then Prof. Yao and Prof. Hopcroft will share their insights into the latest developments and their vision on the future of computer science and related fields.
In addition to two plenary talks, this forum includes four keynotes and twenty-five invited talks. Twenty-five invited talks will cover the following topics: Detailed program could be downloaded [here].
